Mission Statement

The mission of the MGK Pageant is to promote health, fitness and inner beauty among women and children of all ethnic groups while producing positive role models for the community; to develop young female that will promote self-confidence, self-worth, moral, academic and social support for our youth; and to publicly recognize women who have obtained personal, professional and community achievements along with promoting self-development in young mind as we relate with beauty and the brain .

Brief History of Pageant

The MGK Pageant was conceptualized in 2016 under the leadership of Mr Obani Anthony Oluwabiyi Boyede Greenlyte. The pageant was established in order to promote academic achievement, talent, fitness and inner beauty among young women and children of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds and ethnic origin.

Children and women, from across the Nation,Nigeria, compete in a live on stage pageant production for cash, gifts, and prizes and the ultimate division titles.

They are judged on personality, poise, talent, and oral and written communication skills. There is no swimsuit competition. We focus on the individual beauty/brain of each contestant, as well as their individual achievements, community involvement and personal strengths.

Other awards in which they are eligible for include: The Green Creative Scholar Award, Community Service Award, People’s Choice Award, and Talent Award.

The MGK Pageant has 2 age divisions:
• Children (ages 7 – 12)
• Adult (ages 30 – 45)

The MGK Pageant’s platform is Brain, Beauty Awareness.

This year as part fo Alimosho Kulturefest will be having Two segment nof the pageant:

The MGK Pageant for year 2022:

• Children (ages 7 – 12) : Female & Male

• Adult (ages 30 – 45)

Who can contest :
Anybody in the age range of the above listed can contest.
